The Baltimore Chemical Association, Inc. was formed for:

(1) The advancement of the chemical and associated industries of Baltimore and Maryland.

(2) To provide scholarships to qualified students desiring to attend universities and colleges located in Maryland for the purpose of pursuing courses of study in the areas of chemistry and chemical engineering.

(3) The advancement of the study of chemistry and chemical engineering by encouraging students to pursue study in those fields of economic and physical sciences and the encouragement of qualified students to seek employment in the chemical industry.

(4) The encouragement of close professional, personal, and social relations among the members of the Organization.

The scholarship program is funded from the proceeds derived from our various events held throughout the year, and from membership dues.
