Dear BCA Members: I want to thank everyone for another great year. Our events last year were very successful thanks to all our members’ participation. Our club appreciates you as a member, we also ask you to try and recruit new members to help our club continue to thieve.
This is a great club, to help it
continue to improve, please get involved and be an active
part of the club. If you are interested in being involved,
please contact a board member, contact information can be
found on the BCA website. Our dues this year will be $100.00. We
prefer that you pay by check, but if necessary we will
accept Credit Cards for payment of your dues. Attached you
will find a form to be filled out and returned to the Club
Office, you may also register online at
http://www.baltchem.com/membership/membership.htm.
Please include your business card; we want to use the card
to get everyone’s correct email addresses in our system. If
your email address changes over the course of the year,
please notify Robert Johnson so we can update it.
Please be aware that some of your
companies email in boxes may strip or cancel attachments
sent by the BCA.
If you select your company email for BCA announcements, you
should advise your IT department that the BCA email (baltchem@comcast.net)
is a safe address. The Baltimore Chemical Club is now over
50 years old; let’s keep it going!
Get involved, give us your ideas and please attend
our outings. Regards, Tom Lucas |

Dear BCA Member: We have a surprise for all of you. We’re
going back to the beach for another Golf Outing to be held
on Thursday, March 25th, 2010.
The event will be
held at Rum Point Seaside Links, 700 Rum Point Road, Berlin,
MD 21811. It’s a great course and one I know you will enjoy.
Rum Point phone is 410-629-1414 and the club is on the left
off of South Point Road (this is the same road you take to
go to OC Golf and Yacht Club) located in Berlin, Md. Please
see Rum
Point’s web site for more information. The day will start with a Tee Times
starting at 12:16 p.m. This allows you to work your way down
in the morning if you wish. The course has a nice restaurant
for lunch if you wish to get their early and have a bite to
eat. There is a driving range if you want to
hit balls to warm up ahead of time.
After Golf we will head up to The Green
Turtle on Route 611 for dinner.
This location is just a mile from the golf course.
They will serve a variety of 12 different ½ pound burgers,
wings, and shrimp.
A full complement of beers will also be
served along with wine. Cocktails are available at the bar
at your own expense. We will go there immediately after we
are done playing golf. They will even stay open for us all
night and give us reduced prices on our drinks if you would
like to stay later. They also have a full game room for our
use. The cost of the affair which will include
prizes is $105 per person for members and $115.00 for
non-members. You can make reservations on the web site at
www.baltchem.com , if
you wish to join as a member our dues for one year are
$100.00. This can also be done on the web site. We know the
economy is bad and we are reducing our prices to try to get
more people to come. This is a great deal!
We have a special deal on rooms at The Clarion
(410)
524-3535) for $59.00/night. Tom Lucas has arranged this great deal
and when you call to make room reservations tell them you need the room rate for
the Baltimore Chemical Club.
We have tee times for 40 people so first
come first serve. This is going to be a great event.
I hope you can make
it down the beach HON! Rich DiMarcantonio |
